I hope you enjoy pizza and beer pairings, because I do!
Number one – I just enjoy sharing things. You know this; that’s why we’re here.
Number two – thanks to a certain pandemic, I haven’t been able to keep up with other silly food shares (namely Fish & Chip Rankings, and Ceviche & Shrimp Cocktail Rankings), because they generally require restaurant patronage and indoor dining – two conditions that have been dodgy for a few years.
So I shifted so I can keep justifying taking photos of my food.
The Jupiter House regularly orders pizza, it’s our #1 favorite fast food, and the fact that it comes to our house is edible perfection. Just for fun I decided to share my beverage pairings too – typically it’s beer, but that’s just my preference; beer with pizza isn’t a rule.
In January 2023 I applied my first CGM; continuous glucose monitor. I learned very quickly that pizza and beer are independently very bad for my glucose. I am more interested in having happy glucose rather than having easy meals. Granted, I still love easy meals, but I am doing more things for healthy glucose levels than convenience. This post isn’t retired yet, but it’s slowing down.
