Welcome to the first quarter of 2023, which covers January, February, and March.
For geographical reference I am in ⇢ North America ⇢ USA ⇢ Central Arkansas. If you are looking for something specific, feel free to comment below. These OOTD posts are a personal time capsule, and a visual log of outfits that work for me. For the sake of variety I’ll try to avoid showing repeat outfits, but no promises.
What can you expect from me? You can expect to see what I wear, but be aware that I buy most of my clothes second hand. Don’t expect to see whatever is trending (sorry?). I’m a thirty-something-year-old stay-at-home mom. I share my outfits for fun. Enjoy!

I’m still shrinking back down to my pre-pregnancy size, permanent fat loss takes TIME.
Q. How are you losing the weight?
A. Daily fasting, diet changes, and berberine supplementation.
This year features my first CGM (continuous glucose monitor). It’s helping me learn how different foods affect my glucose. Daily fasting is a huge step, because I can see what my fasting glucose does when left alone. Diet changes are a work in progress; I am learning that my glucose levels are healthier when I avoid refined grains, rice, potatoes, and beer. Berberine supplementation started last year, and it really does lower my glucose a notch. For me this means that if I take berberine and avoid glucose spikes, I can expect to burn fat that day which is very appealing to my energy levels and waist line. It’s a long game though, I’ve been fasting for years, and intermittently taking berberine for almost an entire year, and I’m still bigger than my usual adult size -but making obvious improvements!

Otherwise I am always cycling clothes in and out of my closet, so these Outfits of the Day posts help me see my options and donate the things that I don’t love. I like to say goodbye to clothes with one last OOTD, but it’s not a promise.
Q1 2023 – January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023.
I’ve stopped providing links to everything I wear, so if you NEED details about something I’ve worn, leave a comment and I’ll help you if I can.
