Every one or two weeks I order groceries from Whole Foods Market, and I select home delivery for all of the conveniences. Besides the obvious convenience of someone else picking my order and driving it to my home, I am a huge fan of a few things that I can only get at Whole Foods Market (compared to other local stores).
Like most grocery choices there are options available, but these are definitely favorites that I can reliably order for my household. I know that I won’t always be within a Whole Foods Market delivery range, so this known rarity makes these favorites even sweeter. If you’re seeking a new mineral water, a sweet treat worth sharing, a salty snack worth hiding, a creamy coffee, or a travel-ready deodorant that actually keeps me dry – read on.

Here are my five favorites from Whole Foods Market:
- Chili pistachios
- Deodorant spray
- Still mineral water
- Mini chocolate croissants
- New Orleans style iced coffee
— CHILI PISTACHIOS (SHELLED!)
These aren’t in each grocery order, but they are regularly in our pantry!
These were originally picked so that Mister Jupiter could have a Whole Foods Market (WFM) treat also, and these are perfect because they are better than we expected.
One day I was assembling a cart and asked if he had any requests, and he simply requested shelled pistachios…and I selected the chili option for him (since it wasn’t part of the original request, and I didn’t want to question him to death…”andplusalso” I wanted to try them too).
They were a hit and I buy them often just for Mister Jupiter. They have other flavors sometimes, but chili really makes us smile. Mmm.
— DEODORANT SPRAY (THAT CHANGED MY LIFE)
After 20 years of using deodorants that kind of worked – I found one THAT WORKS AND IS ALUMINUM-FREE.
I just thought that the perfect deodorant was going to be like finding my perfect-match concealer; fruitless and best given up. I never found a great deodorant before I had a baby, then afterwards my body changed so that my armpits smelled worse AND were more wet. Eww.
I literally bought a new-to-me brand, or formulation each time I needed to replenish my deodorant for twenty years, and all were generally disappointing. The last stick I bought was Native, and I was medium happy with it (which is high praise). My ‘pits smelled better most of the time, but every afternoon my bodily bacteria would crank up the odor and I couldn’t stand smelling myself and I needed a lot of emergency showers just to function. Taking chlorophyll did help, but I don’t want to take it for the rest of my life, so I only take chlorophyll before bed a few nights leading up to events where someone might smell me.
Then some smarty-pants algorithm showed my Weleda rose deodorant spray, and I immediately saw two things; tons of reviews from thousands of users, and an affordable price tag.
*adds to cart*
I started trying it right away because I love rose-scented things. I applied a few sprays after an evening shower and went to bed like usual. The next day I didn’t get that horrid afternoon funk. I reapplied when changing clothes, and later realized that I didn’t have any evidence of night time sweats either. I did actually sweat a tiny bit…after biking five miles with my toddler. And even that was minimal; not the gross buckets of sweat that I was regularly producing for the last two years.
Best part?! The bottle is only 100ml, which means that it is TSA-friendly liquid and I can travel with it. So if you are searching for the right aluminum-free deodorant, and have had zero real success – grab a bottle of this and just try it. It might change your life like it changed mine.
- Weleda deodorant spray (Rose is linked here. Other scents are also available.)
- Native deodorant stick (Lavender Rose here, other scents available.)
- Chlorophyll drops to deodorize from the inside
— STILL MINERAL WATER (#REFRESHING)
This one is a simple tale.
I was building a WFM cart, and wanted a mineral water. I tend to cycle waters – I always have filtered water, but I like to alternate alkaline and mineral waters too. Like the deodorant, this mineral water was affordable and highly rated – so I bought two bottles to try.
It’s refreshing and feels quenching…like on a cellular level. I like this one because it’s still (versus sparkling), and is excellent when chilled. As luck would have it, my city just brought back residential glass recycling so I can keep adding this amazing water to each grocery order and I don’t have to make separate trips to recycle the glass – huzzah!
— MINI CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS (DELISH)
I wish I could remember my first chocolate croissant, because it must have made a real impression.
We move often, and when we start to learn our new city I enjoy searching for my new favorite chocolate croissant. I typically stick to grocery store selections – unless I have easy access to real bakeries. So it’s a miracle that I waited so long to search Whole Foods Market for this sharable treat.
I kind of try to share these…but often eat the entire dozen in one day (because day-old croissant is a crime). They are flakey, buttery, and have just a bit of chocolate in each bite. How else does one eat perfection?! With hot coffee of course.
— NEW ORLEANS STYLE ICED COFFEE (SWEET & CHICORY)
Last but not least, I always put a few iced coffees in each order, because they are treats for Mister Jupiter and I.
In line with my usual modes of exploration, I was ordering a different brand or type of iced coffee with each order so we could try them and get to know the selection. Mister Jupiter became a fan of Blue Bottle coffee right away, so I started exploring their line.
While I regularly drink black coffee, Blue Bottle’s New Orleans style coffee is a real treat. It has the chicory that I love of Café du Monde, but this wee carton is perfectly sweet and creamy without my intervention. It’s definitely my favorite. Mister Jupiter likes it, but he prefers their plain black iced coffee. I tend to buy us a set each month and love having easy access to such tasty coffees.
Luckily most of these favorites aren’t exclusive to Whole Foods Market – so if you see these in the wild and wonder if they are as good as I claim, buy it and try it!
