Outfits of the Day :: Autumn 2020 📍

I wear clothes that generally fit, I collect leather accessories (primarily purses, shoes, and jackets), and I enjoy gold jewelry. That’s worth seeing, right? Yes it is. Be advised, I’m not a fashion blogger, I’m not tall, I’m not a size two – and here I am anyway!

These OOTD posts are a personal time capsule, and a visual log of outfits that work for me (or don’t!). For the sake of variety I’ll try to avoid showing repeat outfits in a single season, but no promises. For geographical reference I am in North America (USA), Central Arkansas. GOOD • I’m still working on shrinking back down to my pre-pregnancy size. Not always shrinking, but trending smaller overall.

BAD • My size and weight keep stalling out one size more than I prefer. Apparently going from a small eight or a size six down to my usual four or two is going to be a long term project.

ALSO • I cannot believe how many shirts are short and wide. Expect to see a few of these with undershirts as I try to wear them at least once before re-thrifting. If nothing else, cooler temperatures generally mean that I can wear and show you more of my jackets without melting, and maybe maybe I can even take some photos in different locations (no promises though).

Typically I super love summer and kind of resent autumn, but this year is different and I welcome the cooler temperatures. I especially can’t wait to ride my bike outside without melting – so hopefully I’ll get some biking outfits posted. I’m a casual rider, not a lady MAMIL (middle-aged-man-in-lycra).
